Overview

Coverage of the Uefa Cup first-round, first-leg clash at Parkhead, Glasgow. Liverpool are twice winners of this competition, in 1973 and 1976, but haven't reached a European final since 1985. Celtic are now under new manager Wim Jensen, and their last Uefa Cup appearance saw them lose to Sporting Lisbon in the second round in 1993-94.
