Liverpool (League Champions and European Cup winners) v Manchester United (FA Cup winners) This year is an intriguing 'replay' of the FA Cup Final in May, when Manchester United thwarted Liverpool's hopes of a 'treble' with a 2-1 win. Since then Dave Sexton has replaced Tommy Docherty as manager of United, and Kevin Keegan has left Liverpool for Hamburg.
