Still suffering from the effects of the Sorrow Toxin, Ji Bozai helps Ming Yi recover and together they partially restore the Mirror of Affairs.

Situ Ling and Ming Xin strike a deal. Bu Xiu enters a competition to win the materials needed to revive Twenty-Seven. Ji Bozai and Ming Yi reconcile. 

Lost pieces of Ming Yi's history come to light and she enlists Jing Shu to help uncover the mystery of what happened a generation ago.

Ming Yi and Ji Bozai learn the truth about the crown prince, but the fallout from this revelation comes with dire consequences for both.
