Young sisters Anna and Celia LeBaron endure a chaotic childhood. Their father Ervil LeBaron, a polygamist cult leader, claims to be the “Prophet of God.” Ervil's deadly rise to power begins as he orders executions of rivals who stand in his way.

Two young wives chosen by Ervil are allegedly sent to kill a man considered a polygamist rival. Will they get away with it and will law enforcement ever catch Ervil? The law closes in on the hit woman, but in a bizarre twist, the deadly prophet escapes.

Anna and Celia are on the run while Ervil is on the FBI's “Ten Most Wanted” list. A massive manhunt finally nets their murderous father, but can they contain his deadly doctrine as his writings are smuggled out of prison and his thirst for revenge grows?

Ervil's “Hit List” causes a tidal wave of fear as a new generation takes over the cult after his death and a brutal assassination plot unfolds. Anna and Celia are awakened to their family's deadly history and make daring escapes from the cult.
