Lee Seung-hyeon

Biography

Lee Seung-hyeon (이승현) is a South Korean actor, started appearing in movies as a child actor in 1966 when he was 6 years old, and took on the main character in the 'Yalgae Series', a byword for youth films in the 1970s, and quickly rose to stardom. Starting with High School Yalgae in 1976, he appeared in 'Yalgae March' and 'University Yalgae'. He won the Encouragement Award at the Blue Dragon Film Festival in 1973, the Special Award at the 13th Grand Bell Awards in 1974, and the Special Award at the 13th Baeksang Arts Awards in 1977.
