In 1991, she moved to Taiwan and starred in 刺馬 under the pseudonym 吳沛穎. She retired from acting in 1992 after marrying director Dennis Chiu Jan-Keung (招振強). She raised their four children alone, and the extranged couple divorced in 2014.
