Essy Persson

Biography

Essy Ingeborg Vilhelmina Persson is a Swedish stage and film actress most noted for her role in "I, a Woman" (1965). She started out on the theatre before being discovered by Swedish film director and cinematographer Mac Ahlberg. Later American producer Radley Metzger offered Essy a string of parts in international erotic films. She studied at the Art Academy Valand and Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Designs, from 1981 to 1984 and became an artist.
