What Others Said

NancyInOregon: I was completely engrossed in this movie. The story, the acting, the cultural aspect of how a Blackfoot Indian would be treated by VA medical staff after World War II (out of ignorance, not evil intentions), the odd story of the French anthropologist who isn't really French who is invited to psychoanalyze Jimmy P. and does it with respect and understanding, the mystery of the medical problem, Benicio del Toro in the best role I've ever seen him in, the evolution of his treatment, and the fact that this was based on a true story. I fell in love with the characters and it's hard to let it go. If you like psychology, cross-cultural encounters, and delving deeply into a character, give this one a chance.
