During a coma, Blank has visions of a desert. When he wakes up from his coma in hospital, he realizes that he has lost his memory. Without knowing who he is, he sets off in search of himself. Ward sister Maria, who has been raising her son Gaspar alone for years without a husband, becomes Blank's involuntary escape helper from the hospital and accomplice in an adventurous search for the seven basic rules of life.
