What an embarrassment of a film.
First, the talents of Song Jia, Ma Li and Eric Tsang are completely wasted.
Second, the whole idea of the "fairy tale" falls flat when the movie moves at such a high pace that its almost impossible to keep up.
Thirdly, the CGI. When more than 50% of any given frame is computer effects, and they look horrible, then there is no hope.
Yet another disaster of a Chinese film. And this time they ruined the reputation of a well-loved story.
