badelf: This is quite the incredible movie. Not being versed in Indian culture, the title didn't warn me about the journey I was taking here. My first impressions connected this movie to the Peruvian "Eternity". But it didn't go there at all - not even close. If you like Kurasawa's "Ran", Shakespearean tragedy, or King Lear specifically, you will love this film. It's a Marathi retelling of King Lear. And it's brilliant, touching and tragic.
