Overview

The daughters of the king of birds have chosen human grooms and left their native fairy forest in the form of silver and golden eggs. One is found by Štěpán in the gamekeeper's lodge, the other by the count in the castle. When the eggs hatch into beautiful girls, it seems that both couples will live happily and contentedly together.
