"Rafi" (Uma Thurman) is on the rebound from a messy divorce when she meets the charismatic young artist "David" (Bryan Greenberg). In theory they have nothing in common - and she is fourteen years older than him. That's not going to stop them though, and she begins to regale her shrink (Meryl Streep) with tales of her new found affection. Sure, it's about sex - but she likes him - she's not that shallow. Their relationship is soon burgeoning; they are meeting friends and becoming a couple. Then the bombshell - his mother is her shrink! With the secrets out and his mother now aware rather embarrassingly of some details about his penis, the whole scenario must recalibrate. Can the couple make a go of things or is it all just an hormonal fling that will peter out? It's not terrible this film,...
