When Godzilla re-emerges from an iceberg, a media frenzy generates just as Tako brings his own monster back to Japan. People begin to wonder and debate over which monster can beat who. Soon, King Kong is facing off against Godzilla as Tako seeks to capitalize off of the biggest wrestling match of all time. After decades of obscurity, the original Japanese version of the film saw an official release via Criterion in 2019.
